Success-driven DREMA and DremaSilesia trade shows!
Andrzej Półrolniczak, DREMA and DremaSilesia Project Manager.
For many years the DREMA International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for Wood and Furniture Industries in Poznań has provided an opportunity to showcase the most modern achievements of Polish and foreign manufacturers of machines, tools and equipment for the wood and furniture industry. It is also an ideal venue for demonstrating modern technologies and solutions dedicated to the woodworking industry. World-class exhibitors are eager to boast of their new developments and innovative achievements for the wood and furniture sector. I am glad that the DREMA International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for Wood and Furniture Industries is already listed alongside the most important exhibitions of the wood and furniture industry in the world. On one hand, participation in this event is an excellent opportunity to present new products and improvements, and on the other hand, to get acquainted with a wide range of companies in the field and the current trends.
DREMA 2018 broke records - 389 exhibitors from 19 countries presented their offer on 25,400 m2 of exhibition space. For four days, the exhibition halls were visited by a total of 16,600 professionals from the wood and furniture industries.
The DREMA International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for Wood and Furniture Industries is currently one of the world's leading exhibitions dedicated to the woodworking industry. According to VDMA-Auma 2018 data, DREMA was ranked fifth among the world's leading exhibitions, alongside German LIGNA, Italian XYLEXPO, American IWF Atlanta and Chinese WMF Shanghai, thus becoming a serious player in the global exhibition elite. The prestige of DREMA is also emphasized by the fact that it is listed amongst 15 world exhibitions dedicated to the woodworking industry, officially supported by the EUMABOIS European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers.
Apart from its purely business character, DREMA also serves a number of other functions: educational, charity, promotional; all this makes the trade show comprehensive and attracts crowds of professionals and hobbyists connected with woodworking. Thanks to constantly improved exhibition and close cooperation with exhibitors, partners and patrons, the exhibition halls abound in innovative solutions and give participants access to the best industry offer. On the other hand, an interesting and substantive program of accompanying events reflects the potential of the entire Polish wood and furniture industry. The 2018 edition gave an opportunity to prepare many special spaces: 6th Congress of Wood Industry KOOPDREW, Wood Promotion Pavilion, Parquet Zone, Wood Knowledge and Consulting Zone Drewno.pl, DREMA Design, DREMA TV, Home & Wood live studio and the Clash of Champions Competition, B2B Wood Meetings, DREMA Tools, Painting Skills Testing Ground, InfoTEC WorkShop, Conjured from Wood Competition, 17th Polish Nail Driving Championships, Pellet Academy, OHS Zone, presentations of the State Forests.
I would especially like to highlight the project known as Drema For Kids, which is an excellent promotional tool for companies operating in the wood and furniture sector as well as a testing ground of practical skills for future industry specialists. Above all, however, it serves a noble goal. Furniture created in live show factories is a joint work involving exhibitors, media and students of the Faculty of Wood Technology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. Thanks to their work and commitment, as well as their great heart, sets of furniture went to the Orphanage in Chrzypsko Wielkie, which left the youth there with a huge smile on the faces.
I invite you for the jubilee 35th edition of DREMA which will be held 10-13 September 2019 in Poznań. I also encourage you to take part in the DremaSilesia fair in Sosnowiec from 26 to 28 April 2019.
The growing popularity of DREMASILESIA attracts new exhibitors every year, whilst the comprehensive offer attracts visitors from all over Poland as well as professionals from abroad. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about technical and technological trends in furniture production and woodworking. This event is an ideal form of promotion, it creates effective business relations that pay off with signed agreements, contracts and long-term cooperation. The key aspect of participation in the regional DREMASILESIA trade fair is to verify customer expectations through direct contact.
DremaSilesia is the largest regional trade fair for the sector bringing together market leaders. With each edition the exhibition is becoming more and more popular. The figures behind the 2018 edition are: 1,520 m2 of exhibition space, 69 exhibitors who presented their offerings and attendance of 1,500 professional visitors representing the wood and furniture industry.
